Re: My lack of success with EMDR?

Hey there. I am sorry to hear you did not have any success EMDR.
I am assuming you tried both that and EFT. If I were you I'd try EMDR again but with
someone else... I am just such a strong believer in EMDR..its proven to work 90% of the time and I have been amazed at my own recovery. I was very sceptical..as sceptical as one can be..

When you did the EMDR did your friend use the light therapy? Please give me
more info on what went on during your EMDR session ? EMDR basically brings up
unresolved issues from past and present and helps your brain to process them.
It brings to light irrational and automatical dysfunctional thinking and helps
you realize you don't have to think that way. It's really about balancing both
hemispheres of the brain. In the end, you can look back at the troublesome
event(s) and when thinking about it, not have any emotional charge.

Here's a really really good example of EMDR Therapy and how it works. This
is the best video I've seen. It shows it works by the brain scan that was
given to the guy before and after the therapy. Also my own MD has referred
3 of his patients for EMDR therapy and all 3 have recovered fully. Add me now
who has qualifications to say that I have fully experienced it, and recovered, and that'll make it a 4 out of 4 ! ( :
