Re: Dr. Ravi Devgan died in prison this week

Dr. Ravi Devgan, a pioneering holistic physician and healer, died a death by slow torture in prison. He was strangled and murdered by the Pharmacomafia and its servants in the public system, all of whom felt threatened by his drug-free, natural therapies. His weakness was his inability to manage his finances and be discerning in money matters. It was through this weakness that the system was able to persecute, nail, and crush him. The "assault with a weapon" with which he was charged refers to the use of a hypodermic needle for injecting a natural therapeutic substance into a patient's body following the loss of his medical licence.

While in prison, Ravi was initially misdiagnosed and treated for an illness he didn't have (asthma), when he was, in fact, suffering from heart failure as a result of continuous, prolonged stress. Over the course of a year, the medical care he received was inadequate at best, but could better be described as complete neglect and slow torture. This passionate and compassionate physician, who, over the years, had helped so many people with his progressive, effective therapies, did not even receive a minimal measure of mainstream medical treatment in the last year of his life.

Some of us who tried to help him wrote many letters to government officials in an effort to achieve a pardon or clemency for him on the basis of his grave illness. But as politicians do so well, they gave us the runaround, continuously referring us back to the system that held Dr. Devgan in its grasp and was not about to let him leave prison alive. Every which way we turned, doors were blocked and barricaded.

With profound sadness in our hearts at Ravi's suffering and passing from this world, we express our gratitude to him for the amazing help and healing we received from him over the years. We learned so much from him. We thank God for the gift of Dr. Devgan in our lives. God bless you, Ravi, on your journey in the world beyond.
