You could be right, however the statement in the post said "which category do you ALL put yourselves in"  and since I did not note a southern flavor to the rest of the post, I took it literally.

You are quite right - voters should vote primarily on whether they agree or disagree most with the stated policies of the various candidates.  Now if only we could have a genuine election that was not a rigged sham with two candidates who both answer to the same elite.
