A muslim?

At work the other day one of our contractors came over and was chatting about the holidays. She was talking about liquor at holiday parties, and how her family was split because they were Muslim.

You should have seen the look on the faces of some of my co-workers chatting with us.

You should have heard how they talked about her later.

Her job is now in real jeopardy as she is just a temp.

When on god's green earth did being a muslim become such a horrible thing? This is a wonderful woman who came to us from someone who worked with her for years and years. She has worked these past 6 months diligently, honestly and better than some of the slobs who are employed at the company.

This bigotry has to end.

Even if Obama was a Muslim, I could care less. I voted for him because I agreed with him. If he were Red, Yellow, Green, Jew, Atheist, Quaker, Sun Worshipper, Astrologer......I really could care less.

I hate racism more than anything in the whole world. It seems that some just wear it proudly. Most are just plain stupid.
