No, I certainly don't think your crazy!!!...and understand your concerns and questions. Having been in a similar state of health years ago, I know how 'fragile' you can feel and how scary it is that you'll do something to make the problems worse.

Having never taken slippery elm porridge, I don't know what effects it could have...but I know that it is soothing and healing to the gut, so I doubt this is what caused the problem. Wheatgrass...on the other hand...is a very powerful detoxifier...too aggressive for some people. The wheatgrass might have produced a strong cleansing reaction.

Yes, it is okay to continue using the pancreatin.

The color and coating of the tongue can indicate many things and is part of the diagnostic process used in Traditional Chinese Medicine. A coating is referred to as moss or 'smoke' and indicates the health of the digestive system and the rising of unfavorable by-products...or toxins. The color or coating of the tongue can range from pale, white, yellow, pink, red, purple, blue-green or black. A black color or coating generally reflects a more serious condition. I don't think you need to worry about where the toxins are coming from...if the liver is toxic the bowel is usually toxic, too...and visa versa. Any cleansing that you do will help to reduce the toxic load and improve your health.
