Thought control by snopes? Not for me. Common sense and experience for me..

With all due respect to *yourself* (Notice I specified)-

Snopes has many times been wrong. They just go back later and quietly edit their harmful drekk without telling anyone. As I recall they termed their error-recovery documenting an 'update' or something like that; IMO snopes is probably best suited for an audience of soap-opera addicts.

I'd do a search on something like

snopes error wrong

or something like that.

..I just don't like for people like the snopeses to try to tell me what or how to think..
