let's just say that the change in currency takes place and the dollar is replaced with something else... say the Amero...

We are told that our dollar is worthless BUT, we can receive 1 Amero for every 10 of our dollars at the banks...

Let's say gold is worth $1,000 dollars for sake of argument when this "change" occurs... it would now be worth $100 Ameros... .10 on the dollar.

What would the foreign exchange rate be? Or the value of silver or any other precious metal in Ameros? .10 on the dollar...

All THINGS with current dollar values will be instantly valued\converted in Ameros... .10 on the dollar.
