There will obviously be martial law... democracy, liberties, the life as we have known it goes away. Government is going to assure itself of its own survival. Everything becomes owned by the state... Owning precious metals will be outlawed. Stockpiling food and other necessities will be confiscated items. Self-sufficiency will be discouraged.

The debt that the U.S. government owes to other nations is the debt of the people. Everyone, everything becomes property of the state. You will be squeezed like squeezing blood out of a turnip for whatever you can be squeezed for.
If you want to get food, gas, water, inoculations, then you will have to obtain your RFID so you can obtain necessary items... This will also be used to receive your income as well. And government will take their share directly from that RFID. No need to file tax forms ever again.

Wars in the past have been waged over the issue of nations being owed money and not getting it back. Well this means there will be war coming to American soil. Instant karma so to speak. Find a good hole to crawl into. Get good at ducking and dodging. And start up a small cottage industry if you can. Bakery, Learn about becoming a Beekeeper, or growing shitake mushrooms, etc. Because you will need something to barter with. Learn how to play the harmonica... a blues harp would be more appropriate. The black market will be on the rise. Sticking out like a sore thumb will not be a good idea. At least in the short term. Nothing lasts forever... and so, this too will pass. And try to enjoy yourself at the same time.
