Well, if there is ANY WAY we could get you iodine - let's try it. Lord, I dunno - get it in something! Kelp still tests for arsenic and I dunno about that. Snakeater, one of my heroes here on CZ, told a story some time ago in Trap's forum about iodine and water.
He's a career Marine man, said he used to put a tablet of iodine in each of the water containers (I imagine they were quite large) and that not one of his men, in all the wacky places they'd ever been stationed, got ill. There's something to that. Perhaps there is some form of iodine you could get there. Is it a customs thing? I know Snakeater was stationed in Russia for some time and there are folks all over the iodine board that are in Europe and Australia. Perhaps they know something?
