Hi Laura
Yes, I do have Mitral Valve Prolaps. In the past, Drs have loved to listen to the "click" as they call it that my heart would make. For a long time after I was diagnosed, I would pay a lot of attention to the skips and flutters my heart would make. Either the skips and flutters stopped or I got too busy to listen anymore because I don't feel it like I used to. I was put on 20 milligrams of Inderal and had taken it FOREVER. I have another post on this forum telling how I took myself off Inderal. I take no medication.
I exercise. Because I work, I get up at 5:00 to make sure I do exercise. I also take several hundred milligrams magnesium and 75 milligrams of CoQ-10 daily---all good for your heart.
To be diagnosed with MVP, you will need to see a cardiologist. Or, if you want to improve your heart and forget the Dr, exercise and take the supplements I take.
If you have not completed any cleanses, I would suggest cleansing. It's a great way to improve your quality of life!!
Oh, and congratulations on being married that long!!!
Good luck and good health!
