If AGW and arctic wildlife was really a concern they wouldn't be doing this sort of thing.
Cynically speaking they dont really give a damn about anything anyway and we all know it.

Getting to the contentious AGW issue - if it were real there would be a real sense of urgency and we would all feel the same way, our governments would make us know in no uncertain terms that AGW is vitally serious (not that we would need that kind of prompting) and our lives would be adjusted yesterday.
China and India would accept their responsibility instantly and living conditions would change drastically for every one on this planet - they would have to there would be no alternative.
Presently all I see is plodding and pissing around by our governments, with a few token taxes here and there and vague targets on emissions in the next 30 - 50 years with constantly changing goalposts and al gore making more money than he could ever spend.
There would be no dissenting websites either or at the most very few.
Scientists in India claim AGW is a fraud and China are too busy making money to care.
Just on this basis alone it is so obviously a scam of literally global proportion much like the peak oil scam.

Last night panorama aired a show re: new UK gov guidelines on mining in the UK.
Its all go here for British opencast mining! and the gov has said that this is required justified because of our electricity needs! which is fair enough IMO but does fly in the face of our green friends agendas.
