"The very fact that this type of activity occurring in an area that is under such environmental contention goes a long way to illustrate that the media/gov raised issues of climate change and wildlife survival is really a non issue. If these issues were of genuine importance then this type of activity would be transparent and open to question."

The problem is it's not transparent and open... and I'm not talking about the Arctic.
