Re: Nine Arctic Nukes Exploded in Eighteen Hours
Interesting post.
I cant think that the oil would be of use as it would probably be contaminated by radiation.
Releasing pressure there may stop the flow of oil elsewhere - many fields are interconnected - they know oil is fed from below (look up abiotic oil, Thomas Gold for more info) and it could sign a another price hike as they claim shortages of oil reserves at nearby facilities!
It might all be to add to the claim that global warming is causing oil and methane hydrate deposits to rise to the sea/land surface continuing the medias speculative sensationalism.
I am speculating too, but I would wager that whichever government lays claim to that particular area is involved in some way and there will be no benefit to us the ordinary people.
The very fact that this type of activity occurring in an area that is under such environmental contention goes a long way to illustrate that the media/gov raised issues of climate change and wildlife survival is really a non issue. If these issues were of genuine importance then this type of activity would be transparent and open to question.
Also it would have taken time to plan and drill to the depth that devices would then be placed - the most logical platform for this would be an oil rig or rigs
I also found this post :

- which I do not believe for a minute and is obviously a solution for disguising the occurances if it reaches mainstream media.
If the blasts were anywhere near the gakkel ridge then it would also bring in to play the effect of a volcanically active fault that could cause sea ice to melt.
Anyway - just some thoughts.
