Ivermectin for Hookworms
According to this web page, Ivermectin is an effective treatment for hookworms:

Maybe the strongyls in your horses had developed resistance to Ivermectin.
I did not have the worm that came out of me analyzed by a lab. I do not know for sure what it was. Alls I know is better out than in. And the thing stabbed me right before it died.
