Re: So is iron
For the most part I agree with you. Too much of anything is usually not a good idea. Like I inferred earlier, water itself is absolutely critical for health, but you can overdose on it too and it can even be fatal.
Certainly I agree that silver is something you should take when needed for the most part, though silver can hardly be classified as merely an antibiotic and its uses go beyond just killing bacteria and other pathogens. Antibiotics kill only limited types of bacteria, depending upon the antibiotic. They have no effect on other single celled pathogens such as viruses. Neither do they help regenerate bones, and other tissue, especially nervous tissue. No one has ever died from taking colloidal silver. Literally thousands have died from reactions to anti-biotics.
When comparing supplements to approved medications I think it is always important to consider whether the supplement performs by helping the body perform naturally or whether it performs like most drugs and causes the body to unnaturally suppress symptoms of underlying conditions.
BTW, exactly what form of silver shut your bowels down and how are you certain that silver was the cause? That has never happened to me or anyone else I know and I bet I have taken far larger amounts than you did.
