Re: any ED success stories out there?

To be honest with you I do not have any faith in your questionnaire as being something that measures success. It was put together by a person or a group of people, educated by a believe system that I do not share. We all have problems and we all have emotions. Some people have greater problems than others. We all must have emotional problems of some sort. To say we have to have a certain level of our problems solved before we fast or it may cause death does not make any sense to me. Fasting is a very healthy experience, if done correctly, and it may cause death not to do it. Also, it personally helps me with my health issues. I have personally lived a life filled with much physical pain. I had the issue before I gained all the weight so don't blame it on that. Some doctors have told me that I have fibromyalgia which we know is just a term they use when they don't know what is wrong with you. One told me I have a sub clinical condition which I guess means the same thing. When my pain is increased I know I have got to fast in order to keep going and hold down a job which I must have to survive financially. Fasting renews me so that I am able to keep going. I have problems with my throat that I can only control with fasting. I fight lingering coughs that I can only get rid of by fasting. Weight loss is only one issue for me. I have a need to fast for health and spiritual reasons as well. I get answers to prayer more easily when I fast. I feel closer to God when I fast which is important to me. For someone to tell me that I have to pass someone's made up questionnaire before I fast is to me totally insane!
Thank you for your good wishes. I know you are trying to do what is right, but then so am I. You have been an inspiration to me and I admire your success but I do not agree with you on this one. So maybe we will just have to agree to disagree as we all have a right to our own beliefs.
