cold sore

ok, so i have the 'i've just started Iodine so i have a HUGE cold sore' cold sore, i immediately dabbed it with my lugol's, then i had to pant all my lips so it looked like lipstick, i have to go out and collect m son later, i have upped my already high doses of vit c to 3mg a day any more advice or stories of recovery would be gratefully received, just remember i live in taly the land that supplements forgot.
