I am a cat lover and have had many problems with my cat's health and there are a few things I do. At the phrarmaacy they sell a shake bottle of antibotics and I shake the antibotics right on the wound to help it close. It works right away. Yes honey is very good but the cat will lick it off. With the shake antibotics if your cat licks it off it would be good for him. The other thing that works real well is aloe. I have a aloe vera plant at my door and just cut it open and use the gel and put it on the absess. You need to keep cleaning it and might even consider placing a bandage on it so it does not get filled with dirt.
