Progress! Finally!


Almost 2 months I do the candida diet now. I cut Sugar totally, then after 1 months, I slowly introduce complex carbs in my diet sparingly. 60 % of my daily food intake is green vegetables, and I try to eat is raw as often as possible.

During this 2 months period, I experience 3 die offs, and with every die off, the yeast that came out became less and less.

The supplements I take are :

- Oil pulling, virgin coconut oil 3 times per day
- Omega 3 fish oil, 6 soft gels per day
- Vitamin C 1500-2000 mg per day
- Phyllantus Niruri Extract 150 mg per day (immune booster)
- Curcuma extract pills, 3 per day (to help digestion and liver function)
- Acidophillus capsules (probiotics), 2 caps, twice per day.
- I also take stress management course, and do meditation (to calm my mind) daily.

I follow the yeast infection diet. I eliminate Sugar totally from my diet. I eat compled carbs sparingly (meaning not everyday) after 1 month of the candida diet, but still follow the candida diet until now.

I eliminate fruits completely from my daily intake and my daily candida diet composition is : 60 % vegetables (try to eat them raw as much as I can), 30 % protein (meat, fish, chicken, egg) and 10 % complex carbs (buckwheat, basmati rice).

I cook my own meals daily, using Virgin Coconut Oil and Virgin Olive-Oil (for salad dressing). When preparing meals, I use lots of onions, especially garlic, for they are natural Antibiotics .

Some warnings:

1. I believe doing this diet has detoxification effects on your body. As the body clears up your yeast infection, it become more sensitive to toxic food. I experience jitters and panic attack syndrome after eating Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) laden foods.

2. Eliminating Sugar causes hypoglycemia.

THERESULT/PROGRESS :

Boy oh …boy….! I almost give up!!! I thought this is so unfair, the candida condition I suffer. Yeast infection gave me a painful intercourse and made sex unbearable, it gave me painful period cramps, genital itch and burns, awful mood swings, awful UTI (Urinary Tract Infections) for as long as I can remember!!!

The hope that, I can get rid of all this, is the only thing that kept me going. Even though there were moments when I almost give up. But I chose to persist.

Today, for the first time in my life, I experience this :

1. A painless period. The feeling was peaceful and calming. I suffer menstrual cramps every month. And the last period I had, before I did the candida diet, was so painful that I almost faint and crawled from the bathroom to the bedroom. It was so frightening! I was so scared of the unbearable pain. But now, I don’t feel it anymore! Gone!
2. Painless, yeast free intercourse! The feeling is so good….I almost cried of happiness. Finally, I can enjoy intercourse again.
3. No more Urinary Tract Infection. I remember the days, where I could barely work at office, and cling in the toilet for hours, because of UTI pain. It was horrible. I normally thought it was caused by sex (maybe a bit too rough) or damp/too tight panties, holding my pee too long, but now I already know the real cause is : candida.
4. No more sugar cravings. I only drink water (no soda pop, sugary juices, frappuccinnos, sugary teas, coffees etc). And I am happy with water.
5. No sinus/runny nose in the morning.
6. No dust allergies anymore :-)

This is my progress so far. I feel I have more energy and a clear mind. I feel more calm. I combine the whole diet and treatment with stress management lessons, plus meditations. Because stress can trigger candida as well.

The feeling I get is so good, that I decide to stay on the Candida diet and maintain it permanently. For everybody battling with candida, the diet works! Be persistent, be patient, don’t lose hope. It really works.
