Re: I can't imagine what it's like to have white guilt.
"It was very obvious in this campaign how insane, paranoid and outright mean people are to someone because his skin is dark."
48148 is making a vague comment here. Can you see that? The number did not post any evidence or examples of what they are referring to. I can only assume it was about Obama and how he was treated poorly because he has dark skin. Maybe that assumption is wrong since the number has not adequately explained his statement.
I know some black people in this country get treated unfairly by law enforcement for instance, I know lots of black people who tell about being stopped by cops for moving violations, this is out of proportion to the white people I know who have been stopped for driving violations. That's just one example.
But the number 48148 mentioned a vague reference to the campaign. Without knowing what they are actually referring to I can only assume it was to Obama's campaign. I would like to point out that there are reasons some people do not like Obama that have nothing to do with his skin color. His vote and leadership during the bailout is one of the reasons for me to not see him as any different or better than Bush and to see him as being for the same forces and ideals as Bush.
Now, if you would like to rebut something I said saying "you are the most ignorant person I have ever come across in my life" is an unenlightened and irrational statement. What about it is ignorant? and why do I by saying what I said (not sure what you were reacting to exactly) am the most ignorant person you have ever come across in your whole life? Can you defend what you say without using character assassination and use reason?
