Sound advice that many people can benefit from...it really is important to have some understanding and be open to learning about how so many of our health issues are connected.
I am fortunate to have found a good ND. He told me from day one that I needed to expect that it was going to take over a year to get the load of parasites we discovered cleaned up to where I had a handle on them (and he was right). I don't believe there is such a thing of being "cured" of parasites--and especially if that's all the focus is--same with candida.
Following Newport's personal experiences of killing parasites- and releasing metals, is interesting. Plus, the research he does, and what he finds in his own biofeedback testing.
Here's a couple examples of posts of his, but there's plenty more like them that are interesting reading. They go hand in hand with what you just said. Someplace...he's talked about chelating metals, and candida being inevitable...
