Re: Day 2 - HELP to get through PLATEAU!

not intending to make anything harder for you, but it might help to know that it's easier to work *with* the tides of the moon than against them. A lot of people ignore the moon, but it pulls the ocean, and pulls on us too, since we're mostly water.
It might actually be more accurate to say we pull on the moon. That's why it's better to be conscious of this, than to operate in the dark, so to speak. You can see how operating in the dark would be a bit like working against oneself.

Traditional wisdom teaches that it's going against the 'flow' to begin new projects of any consequence on the last three days before the new moon. The moon is waning, and that time is especially suited for cleaning up the remains of things almost completed, cleaning house, letting go of old things, bringing the garbage out of the closets, etc. That might coincide well with letting go of say, the *habit* of eating, (if it feels like that) but as to whether it will help a person start and stay with a fast of more than a day or two-- that's debatable. (not that I want to debate!) That's an entirely personal thing.

As it happens, tonight is the new moon--so if you are still fasting, (or want to begin anew) you can gain strength by aligning your intent with the new, strong energy of the new moon.
It may be "invisible" in the sky but its magnetism is still at work, and simply turning your thoughts toward becoming aware that a new cycle is beginning, can give you a substantial 'push' in the right direction.

This is good for anyone who wants to start a fast at or just after the new moon.
the first three days hold good energy that can strengthen new projects in general.

It might also help to be aware that this moon cycle highlights the motif of death/rebirth, so it perfectly suits letting go of old habits, and declaring one's wish to transmute the old 'stuff' into something new and wonderful.

good news for the US election!

If something in this resonates and feels "good" and of use -- great. If not, please just disregard it.

best
