Grains! It's what I purposely neglected to mention in my main post because I didn't want to self-diagnose & potentially rule out other options, but this is what I'm exploring now.
I've been semi grain-free since Sep. 30, and my skin is looking better as I type this than it has in 6+ years, what I mean by "semi" is I've had small amounts of soy sauce containing wheat, plus plenty of oats. Oats, the one thing that would be hard to remove because I use it as a granola base, and granola is my staple food because its calorie & fat content, which I desperately need.
I know there's mixed reactions to oats in people allergic to grains, are you one of those who can or cannot tolerate them?
Diet is a touchy issue, I would consider changing if there were some evidence to support that is would be healthier for myself & bring balance to my body. For now though I'll remain gluten-free as much as possible and see where it takes me.
