Re: Hundreds of face creams. Are any worth the money?

Depends on your skin type. Do you have oily, dry? If you have really oily skin it's best to use a cleanser with salicylic acid and AHA because they do a good job of cleansing the pores and reducing oil. If you have dry skin, try some milk based cleansers because they soften the skin or if you are really dry try DHC cleanser. I had to stop taking it because it made my skin too oily but DHC would be good for extremely dry. As far as creams go, I have yet from Mary Kay to Murad to Zia, found one that really suited my needs but Eminence Organic skin products sounds pretty good, I just have to try them out. They have a Thermal whip moisturizer that I'm dying to try.
Also, keep eating your veggies but also look into powdered sulfur to mix with your powdered vit. C and drink that several times a day. I find that drinking green liquids like liquid chlorophyll and juicing dark green lettuces does wonders for the skin. If you are not too dry, then try looking into herbal facial steams. Lastly, one really weird thing I've done a few times was to mix some (not alot) of pure bleach in my water. Not only did I smell heavenly but a dermatologist's assistant (when I was going in for RetinA) made the comment that my skin looked really nice and soft. What I was never going to tell her was that I had put bleach water on it. I got that idea from a health book I once read on detoxing. I still do bleach water baths from time to time but sometimes I get lazy and don't do them. Not encouraging you to try something so far out especially if your skin is sensitive but just wanted to share some interesting stories.
