Re: Here's a thought...

I agree about this being all about life style change but I take offence at the words "fat greasy pig" and "fat lazy asses". I am concerned that someone who is overweight will come to this website and be turned off because of the way you have stated your argument for alternative healthstyle. Just because someone is fat doesn't mean they are lazy. My husband is the hardest worker I have ever met. Had a very physical job and was still getting overweight. He easily worked 80 hours a week. While those we knew who maybe worked 20 hours a week, none of it physical labor, were thin and fit looking.

I, and many people I know, did nothing but gain weight while following holistic, all natural lifestyles. I was a health food fanatic. You know.... make your own almondaise, almond milk, nothing artificial, make it all homemade, etc. kind of fanatic. Vegitarian for 5 years kind of fanatic. I got fat trying to be healthy. We all have different bodies and what works for one may not work for another. I eat meat. I will continue to eat meat even though I hate meat. I've lost over 50 pounds eating meat. I'm not *fat* anymore. I'm not where I want to be either but I sure feel better. I love fruits, veggies and whole grains. Unfortunately they love me to. So much that they stick to me like glue. Maybe once I am done doing all my cleanses I will be able to have lots of holistic things again but till then I eat meat, fat greasy meat. What I don't do is eat carbohydrates and meat at the same time. So no cholesterol or related problems.

Please be careful with how you state things. Lets not turn off those who are looking for solutions.

Take care,
Lisa
