Do I Need Potassium or Sodium(Salt)

Some, if not most of us who have hypoglycemia also have adrenal fatigue as we know. Likewise, if you have adrenal fatigue, you may have hypoglycemia.

Juliam Plesman said in his article about hypoglycemia that we excrete potassium in our urine and salt is retained. Therefore, he recommends that we take potassium chloride tablets inorder to releive the unpleasant feelings of hypoglycemia.

On the other hand, James Wilson in his book about Adrenal Fatigue, said that we excrete sodium when we urinate (and potassium is retained?) so we need to take salt and stay away from foods potassium-rich foods (if I remember it right).

So which one do I need to take? If I take both, am I not making the imbalance worse? Does anybody have experience or can enlighten me on this one?
