Where exactly is that taught? That it will happen "in time"?
I don't want to seem like I'm clinging to a single verse, but Mark 16:18 implies instant healing which would correspond to Jesus' healings which happened right there and then. Even in a town full of unbelief, healings still happened (Mark 6:5). Pretty much all who came to him where healed.
As far as God's will being done, I agree. God's will be done. However I don't believe it's God's will for us to suffer, with Job and perhaps a few others being rare exceptions. Jesus is the living word of God (John 1:14). Jesus was sent to do God's will (John 6:38). Jesus went around teaching about the Kingdom of Heaven and healing people. I don't recall any instances where he procrastinated when people came to him for healing.
Why do we seem to be settling for a powerless, "faith without works", form of Christianity these days?
