Re: Question about optimum time spent in infrared sauna and temp of sauna.
There really isnt that many books on using a sauna or more in particular a infrared sauna.
The 2 that I have are detox or die and hubbards book clear body clear mind.
both books are Very particular on replenishing minerals. You can actually die if you lose too many minerals.
I make a certain cocktail before I go in my sauna -
powdered magnesium, calcium, potassium and sodium - then I add some ACV(apple cider vinegar) to activate these minerals and fill up a large glass and drink some while I am in the sauna then finish when I am done.
I also may take a mutivitamin later in the day to help replenish other trace minerals.
I havnt been using my sauna very much lately; but I want to get back into it - seeing that you have used yours daily for 6 months helps to motivate me.
One of the first things I notice when I use my sauna is my skin feels really smooth; I'm a guy so I could care less but the woman out there might want to know(save some money on all the mostureizing creams etc) .. I just like the fact I can see some results immediately.
