Come to think of it...

...If the pesticide shampoo didn't work, for us, thirty years ago...and I was told by the pharmacy that was what 'everyone' buys...

...Then why was it on the market?

Were these SUPER-bugs even then?

I think we have a giant disconnect here, folks!

And I think it comes from innocent parents being so surprised, alarmed, and embarrassed that they don't discuss it openly.

I am of a generation that heard of fine-tooth combs in literature from the past. And I've seen kids with shorn heads (always boys), apparently to be their 'summer haircuts'.

I've also seen small newspaper articles over the years, mentioning head lice.

So, there's a major question for you...

...Are these SUPER-bugs...or, is it just that the pesticide shampoos have never worked, or never worked well enough???

...And that purchasers have been too embarrassed to compare notes?

Come on, investigative reporters! This is the REAL story!

Grandparents, great-grandparents, unite!

F.

(And read the boxes of those pesticide shampoos, BEFORE your child is sent home with a 'note'. I still remember the disclaimers.)
