Thank you for the recipe. It looks easy. I have some concerns. The nuts are not presoaked so they are not activated. Would not it be healthier to activate the nuts? At first I thought it would be work to grind the nuts, but then I thought maybe the vita mixer would do it easily. Would the boiling water destroy some nutritional value? How about if I just put 1 cup of almonds (not ground) plus 2 cups boiling water in the vita mixer? Would I end up with the same product? The vita mixer will grind them. I am just learning so I do not know how far off I am. I am not tearing apart your recipe, I am just looking for an easy, healthy way of doing this. Thank you for your ideas.
