Hmmmmmmmmm, using scriipture to back a point of a theory in treatments is a huge stretch and an affront to those of us that believe in the Word. And what you are doing is now clear. The first post made it sound as if you had the answers, and you don't. This is purely conjecture. I've always believed before that the reason that it works in a third world nation is the lack of information to the people. Here we have access to the internet, access to medical care, access to all sorts of alternative treatments. We become skeptical. In Africa, where these people are being treated, it's different. When they are told that something will cure them, they believe it. Then we have the perfect conditions for a placebo effect. Don't misunderstand or believe that a placebo effect is not real, it very much is real. And the faith of the person is important. The mind can do wonders if the conditions are right, and those are the conditions that it would work. Beyond that, reinfection is a wonderful way to explain why it doesn't work. Congrats, you've given the Humble followers new fodder to argue their ridiculous, dangerous claims.
