You say you were on prednisone. Are you still on this?
I know well that prednisone can cause a lot of problems not the least of which is depressing your immune system. That coupled with the Antibiotics can give you bad fungal problems.

I took it after IV hydrocortisone in hospital and had to stop it myself due to the side effects, which is not easy, and I did it against my doctors advice
What's more if you have taken a lot for a while it can take over a year to get it out of your system and I got side effects long after stopping it.
