Re: Misconceptions about vitamin C...
Hello Johny,
I agree that vitamin C is added to preserve juices.
However, juice with or without vitamin C can use up all the ClO2 in a dose.
A typical 6 drop dose takes around 250 mg of vitamin C to completely neutralize it when it is activated according to the
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement protocol. A glass of orange juice has around 60 mg of vitamin C in it, so if it was the vitamin C neutralizing the ClO2, there would still be some left even with orange juice.
It just so happens that ClO2 reacts with juice pulp and that is what causes the ClO2 levels to fall when using juice. If you have juice with high turbidity and vitamin C, I can see that using up all of the ClO2 in a dose, but the vitamin C in juices is only using up part of the ClO2.
I have added organic apple juice to a dose of
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement and completely neutralized it, and also have added highly processed apple juice with vitamin C added to it and ended up with a dose of slightly lower concentration of ClO2, but it did not neutralize it.
I don't think Jim Humble has done enough testing with vitamin C to understand it.
