The 'universal remedy'
What a delightful name. I've enjoyed reading that thread, and following up, on all the informative links. ****I wonder too -- would peeing around the yard (in the manner of one man menttioned) deter the cats? bring other animals? Declare a 'competition'? Seriously, does anyone have experince with that? In the summer, the smell of male cats can all but ruin an evening, even WITH the night-blooming flowers.
Anyway, I've begun to try this on my heels, (soles) which have been sore and cracked since a marathon of food-making that lasted three days, in December.
The skin keeps cracking, as soon as it seems to be healing, and coming off in thick layers. At first, some areas on the feet were numb too from standing so many hours. These are coming back to life, but the cracking persists, and it can really hurt.
Since I continually read on whatever products are pushed (that I haven't bought) for cracked heels, that UREA is the main ingredient, I though I'd begin with using it straight. This morning was the first time. Nothing to report yet, but I will keep it up, massaging it in, and just letting it dry. My diet is quite good, so the urine is slightly fruity.
Next, I'm going to try the homeopathic version, internally. I've always found the subtler, the better. Except for the heels. They've been really suffering.
