If you would read more on budwig you would see that she did allow oatmeal. The transition diet included oatmeal. The original cottage cheese which is not the same as we have cottage cheese here (more of a yogurt drained of the whey) is mixed with oil but I can not get oil in Jordan so I have abbreviated the recipe. Not for everyone but for me it is great booster as I am very low on energy. Dr. Budwig allowed oatmeal, almonds, honey and all the fruit and veg you want so the granola is the things I mentioned.
