Thanks, I checked out that thread before making my post I believe. It was interesting, but the gastroenterologist doesn't think the sliding hiatal hernia is causing my problems. It's only 3-4 cm, and so small that it didn't show up on the Barium swallow test. The sliding hiatal hernia also doesn't coincide w/ my symptoms, unless somehow drinking gin is capable of pulling a hernia up or causing one? Anyway, I did re-read the link, and I'll consider finding a chiropractor to see if that'll help.
I just feel the symptoms were way too sudden to be a hernia. I mean I had drank bottles of brandy and boxes of wine long before that day and not had a single problem. I did notice though that my first symptom was shortness of breath, so if I somehow find out how gin could cause a hiatal hernia after consumption of it, I probably will pursue the visceral manipulation (hiatal hernia correction) more fervently, but at this point I see a lot of sources saying that very small hernias like mine are normally asymptomatic and found incidentally when going in for symptom checks.
