I am considering fasting for weight loss and as a lifestyle for improved health. Some Q's that I have. Is fasting (water fasting) for a few days and then disciplined eating for a day, fasting ect, a good way to go. I am concerned about lowing metabolism in extended fasts. Will my focus and concentration be affected? I am an older student in my last year, I do not need anything that will affect my concentration, energy, or focus in a negative way. Will fasting help lower my recently discovered high blood pressure? Any tips or advice while I transition into these life changes are appreciated.
