Re: Vegetarian Diet Can Leave Nutritional Holes

I personally thoroughly enjoyed Chrisb1 article. It was exactly the way I feel. Most vegetarians are there for specific reasons and I find most vegetarians study very much. One reason I am a vegetarian is because I love animals and I support not being cruel to animals. I became a vegetarian slow and with much care. As a vegetarian it is imperative to have regular lab test and when I became a vegetarian my cholesterol dropped from 200 to 133 which is a little low. My trilcycerides was 243 and now they are 66. So I am happy with choices and I think that is what life is choices.

Most of the MS diets i read, I guess 80 percent advocate no meats or fish especially.
I know you suggested some lite meats. The main reason not to eat meat here because we dont have clean meat. I mean our meat mainly comes from farms like in India, not grass fed animals. We do have a lot of lambs but it is so very expensive. We are a poor country so they eat alot of buffalo from India. As far as fish it is from china and vietnam and known for their poisons killings. So I stay away from that. The only organic fish is in amman and absolutely outrageous price. That is why they say that lentils are the poor man's food. A lot of lentils here.
