Re: irradiated - EDIT

Most is now irradiated; there are details available on the warehouses that entire containers are driven into for irradiation, this was in response to the fake anthrax scare.

Certainly the difference between irradiated and non irradiated turmeric is immediately noticeable.

As for cloves; they are medicinally useless once irradiated.

I should add that in a private conversation with a supplier of capsuled cloves about their recent massive increase in price I was told that they must resell 5 out of six shipments now after chemically testing the product since the medicinal value is destroyed. This is AFTER carefully packaging and sometimes even flying them in.

BTW: Herbs are the #1 irradiated product now...move along...no conspiracy here...
