i don't recommend this -but at one point i had an iud--in those days they didn't name them--a copper iud--anyway, i got fed up and wanted it out--so, after praying and aligning myself, I had a glass of wine and, deep breath, thoughts of "letting go" --took it out. It was easy. I was amazed. and so relieved.
After years of feeling weird--it just tugged once, with a slight cramp and -- out.
I have such a strong memory of that moment--that was oh-- almost twenty years ago. My aim in telling this is just to remind you all of some feeling: that power has not been completely stolen...
