Does anyone know if it hurts to get Mirena Removed???

My doc told me it was simple to put in, and didn't hurt...yeah right! It was so painful, felt like stabbing pain like I wanted to push like labor when she was putting it in. And I had the worst cramps in the world the 1st day I had it. Now I am wondering what it's going to be like getting it out. Is it faster and less painful then the putting in? God I really hope so. And will I feel instant relief like will my constant hip/low back pain go away or what?
