I haven't heard of any steroid that reverses shape or appearance.

I certainly sympathise with the lack of support... been treated like an hysterical woman for years! First consultant said I was obviously scratching myself in my sleep...GP seems more clued up, but then she's young.

My condition has ceased to respond to the steroid ointment- so I was sent for a biopsy- and after 9 hours starvation (to be a day care patient) I went into theatre and the consultant said he couldn't see anything to biopsy! so sent me home!


I've found the UK based LSSupport group- but can't find out how to join.Its always good to know you are not alone.
