Gas and cops, by MH

I have noticed that since gas has hit $4.00+ a gallon, the last 2 months the cops have been thicker than ever and often have car pulled over every 5 miles on any given major highway!!!

The traffic cop has to have one of the worse jobs, being told to go out and charge people for speeding, when they know the other 80% of drivers are also speeding the same.................People will drive 10-15 miles over any posted speed limit.

I also see the sherrif officers being layed off with the excuse gas is too high, which makes zero sense! These county and states have more $$$$$$$$$$ than they can ever dream of spending, they collect so many millions in house/land/etc. taxes that gas going up is no excuse, if anything, the cops are pulling over so many peopke for speeding they must have 5x their normal $$$$ and the local courts always months behind because business is so good for them!!! Things cost more, so they get more TAX, in theory they can hire more people and not lay people off because of gas prices.

I also noticed they jacked the gas up 20 cents a gallon just because of the up coming Holiday! I would think by now people would look down upon the oil companies just as much as people hate low life lawyers/judges.
