Re: dont ask charlie
"i dont see the difference between him promoting his herbal tonic and iod. suppl forum promoting iodine"
Hi, boem -- with all due respect (and I mean that sincerely) I see several big differences.
1. He's promoting something only HE can provide, the ingredients of which he will not disclose; the iodine forum shares scientific literature and people's own experiences about nutritional therapies that anyone can purchase from a number of sources.
2. He doesn't back any of his claims about the efficacy of his tonic with anything other than his own word (he claims years of clinical experience but hasn't produced any evidence of that, see
http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1201200#i
and
http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1204399#i).
If he's challenged, he accuses the challenger of having "trust issues."
3. He's not the least bit interested in learning from/refining his understanding based on input from other posters. It doesn't take much browsing through the VWT forum's archives to realize that there has been a lot of give and take and learning going on, especially when the moderators were first experimenting with iodine orthosupplementation. The moderators didn't just suddenly descend from the sky and claim to have all the answers.
There's three off the top of my head . . .
