Re: Eye Skin Rash, Redness, Swelling, inflamation, CURE?
Hi,
I don't know if the information I have to share will be of any help or not but here goes.
I have been diagnosed with dry eye and was told to use warm compresses, cleanse the eye lid with a gentle soap, like baby shampoo. I tried this and all the dry eye drops like tear gel, etc. to no avail.
I don't think my symptoms are comparable to your girl friends but I did a search on the internet about eye drops and read reviews from others. The one I tried is Similason for dry eye, now to get what I really wanted to say. My eyes have been much improved. Similason has other formulaes, one I recall was for allergies. I believe there is another formulae but can't recall at the moment. Similason is a homepathic remedy that you can find in most drug stores or at the very least buy on the internet. The formulae I used contained bella donna which on the information I collected stated that it makes the eye work, instead of bandaging it with preserved saline solutions.
I agree that vaseline would not be a good idea. Perhaps it is clogging the tiny ducts on the lids that moisturise the eye. I also would not use the baby oil.
Good luck, I hope this helps.
Keep me updated!
