Re: What keeps you MOTIVATED to your fast?

When in pain (or extreme discomfort) on a fast I like to read about fasting or natural hygiene. If sleep is possible, I sleep. Getting some sun in nice too and relaxing outside. Camping is peaceful as well, fresh air, no noise, no stress.

Fasting for me is not an option. There is no choice, it's something that just has to be done. That's all the motivation I need.

It also like that I'm following in the traditions of many great minds of history, great Greek and Roman philosophers, mathematicians and doctors. Or if you prefer you are following in the footsteps of some of the greatest religious figures, like Jesus and Ghandi. Following in the traditions of people like this is fairly motivating for me, and also makes me feel good about what I'm doing.
