Re: What keeps you MOTIVATED to your fast?
Big Beat- what's a beach school, sorry if I'm being dumb...it's sound brilliant!!!
My fav:
"A moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips"
My main motivation at over 14 stone and a size 18 (UK size, think thats US 22)was to lay out all the clothes that didn't fit me in order of size (I was a six and slowly grew, so I have a lot of clothes in different sizes) from largest to smallest and put a label on each pile saying when I wanted, or expected them to fit.
On the first pile I wrote 'Size 16- week 2-3", on the next I wrote 'Size 14, week 4-6' and so on, right down til 'Size 8- week 16-20' (I didn't want to get back to a 6 as I looked too slim at that, no curves!).
I set my saturday mornings aside each week to try on each item left in the current size range. Obviously I didn't fit into each and every size 14 at 4 weeks , but I didn't get disheartened as I had other 'smaller' 14's to get into... and still had a two week time frame to acheive that i.e. deadline of 6 weeks. Then I'd bag up most of the clothes that did fit (keeping enough to wear for a week!) and take them to a charity shop so that I could focus on the next batch of smaller things- I had to get rid of the clothes, otherwise I'd get too comfy at a certain size.
Another great tip is to take photos of yourself (or get a partner to take em) as you go, in the same place, at the same angle and in the same outfit e.g. a bikini that's way too tight to start with. Seeing your progress will motivate you no end! Good luck :)
