Too bad so much of this information is hidden from us through our educational brainwashing. If we had been told, and knew the truth all along, things would have turned out much differently...

That the Civil War had EVERYTHING to do with individual and states rights, unfair taxation without representation, (slavery was on the way out in the South well before the civil war and was used by Lincoln and the PTB, as a political lever) and a strong collective protestation against the way Federal government was heading is lost on most.
