I'm glad your going to be scientific about this.

I read that some benonite is mined out from the desert, that's dirt (silica).

The absorbtion characteristics of benonite are noted. The salts in the silicate create the absorbtion.

The body will leach and absorb whatever you put into it.

Thanks for the suggestion of the alternative to Benonite.
