Don't be put off when you rebound a bit after the fast, it's to be expected. After a while, you will find the tide turns and the weight remains steady, or drops if you are eating the right food. The main thing is that overall progress is downward.
Although progress can seem slow, think how much quicker it is and less painful than the lettuce method! ;-)
I am on day 5 now and not at all hungry, just a bit bored that's all. But that's a small price to pay.
